Collab-26 Scholarship and secondment opportunities

New Zealand School of Dance Winter School Full Tuition Scholarship *

This scholarship covers full tuition for the NZSD Winter School in Wellington from July 5–9. It will be awarded at the end of our season to a school-aged dancer who demonstrates exceptional potential and work ethic.


Secondment to Footnote Dance *

In association with Footnote, one advanced dancer from Collab-26 will be selected to spend a week immersed in company life in Wellington, learning from some of New Zealand’s best contemporary dancers.=

Immersion Week at Unitec

All Collab-26 dancers in Year 12 or 13 will automatically be considered for a week-long immersive scholarship at the Unitec tertiary dance department. This is a fantastic chance to experience a full-time tertiary dance environment.

Student Experience at Auckland University Dance Studies

An opportunity for a selected dancer to experience being a student for a day, gaining insight into tertiary dance study, alongside two hours of one-to-one choreographic mentoring with a member of the Dance Studies team. This experience is designed to support and inspire a student currently undertaking (or intending to undertake) NCEA Dance, offering personalised guidance, exposure to tertiary dance training, and the chance to ask questions about pathways, practice.
